We can still help you!Timber is a natural product and is subject to continual movement when exposed to atmospheric conditions. This may be evident with splits, shakes or warping. These are not considered to be a fault or defect.Please note: All our Vertilap Fence Panels have been pressure treated. Pressure-treated green, to BS8417 at our very own treatment works, will maximise the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.These timbers will be tinged/ tinted green. This is from the pressure preservative treatment. Should a bolder/ darker colour stain be required, we would advise using a timber-staining product.This process penetrates the timbers, which will help to protect the Fence Panels from rot & decay. As this process is a high-pressure treatment, colour may vary slightly from panel to panel. We recommend using a top coat or stain on these panels if you require a specific colour finish.
