The Klargester Sigma is a high-performance, shallow-dig septic tank designed for domestic and light commercial use.

While the Alpha range is traditionally spherical (onion-shaped), the Sigma is cylindrical, allowing it to sit horizontally in the ground.

This specific geometry makes it the "problem-solver" of the septic tank world, as it requires a much shallower excavation, making it ideal for sites with high water tables or hard rock strata where digging deep is either impossible or prohibitively expensive.

Because the tank is shallow, you move less soil, use less backfill material (concrete or pea shingle), and often don't need to de-water the site as much.

Manufactured from high-quality GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), the Sigma is chemically resistant, watertight, and robust enough to withstand significant ground pressure.

Third-party tested to EN12566-1 standards, it boasts a 99.7% efficiency rate at retaining solids, which helps protect the lifespan of your drainage field (soakaway).

Unlike the Alpha (which tops out at around 14–17 people), the Sigma range extends significantly further, accommodating up to 47 people in standard models and even higher for commercial variants.

Supplied with a standard 500mm invert, but can be fitted with 0.5m or 1.0m neck extensions if the drainage pipes sit deeper.
