A252 mesh reinforcement is manufactured with 8mm rebar, each main wire and cross wire are set at a pitch of 200mm.

A252 mesh is most commonly used in heavier-duty domestic and trade concreting, for concrete slabs of between 150mm and 200mm depth. The 8mm rebar provides much improve structural strength over lesser diameter mesh fabric.
