Kennings carry an extensive range of both concrete and steel lintels for everyday building use. Many are held as stock items, with any special orders being something we can source and supply with very short lead times. Our lintels can be used for internal and external application and are suitable for all construction methods: solid wall, timber frame or brick and block.

Single leaf external solid wall lintels are split into three types. MB (Meter Box), TR (Tray) and CH (Channel.) The MB type is generally specified for carrying masonry over the opening formed for a meter box and typically this would be in the outside leaf of an external cavity wall. The TR is very similar in its functionality.
