Composite fencing is quick and easy!Composite fencing is very low maintenance with no need for painting, staining or sealing.This product has been manufactured from 75% recycled materials, so you can be assured that you are helping the environment.Also available in 2400mm and 2700mmPlease note: Post caps are not included.During the extrusion process, the recycled PVC granules are heated up to 195 degrees, and the molten PVC is then fed into the tool to form the profile of the gravel board or post. Once out of the tool the gravel board is immersed in water to cool the PVC down.
As you can imagine, once heated to 195 degrees and even after being immersed in cold water, the profile still retains some residual heat. When the gravel boards or posts are packed, the residual heat can cause the boards and posts to sweat, and this can cause a blotchy pattern.
This is perfectly normal and after being in the sun and fresh air they will weather naturally. This is not a fault with the boards, just a side effect of the manufacturing process.

Choose a flat cap for a traditional finish, and then if desired, add on a globe or acorn for a classic design touch. Once out of the tool, the gravel board is immersed in water to cool the PVC down. The water tank used is 6m long.
